Associate Veterinarian Veterinarian – Full Time

The best kept secrets are hiding in plain sight – and we think that’s us! Our 2 locations are nestled in the heart of British Columbia, one of the most beautiful places on earth. And heart is a word that sums us up because we care deeply for our team, our community and, of course, for all of our patients and their pet parents! There’s a lot to be proud of here, and we’re looking for an experienced veterinarian to join our hospital’s family!

Our two sites are in Williams Lake (6,700 ft2) and Quesnel (1,700 ft2 – soon to be upgraded). We can accommodate an experienced DVM at either location (or time can be spent at both!) and both hospitals are fully equipped – and we love to mentor!

We’re a team of around 30, including 8 Drs. We offer great work/life balance and generous compensation at all levels of experience with CE allowance, pet allowance, uniform allowance, flexible vacation and time for CE, as well as additional pay for any emergency or after hours calls. We operate 5 days/week but scheduling can be flexible to suit your preference.

Both practices are mixed animal with the majority of work being small/companion animal, though large animal work or other areas of practice can be expanded to suit a veterinarian’s interests. We’re happy to invite you to join whether you’d like to treat only small animals or mixed animals – your call. Our equipment includes ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house and portable digital radiology, surgical and dental suites, Idexx lab in addition to excellent equine and bovine equipment.

Our team is very inclusive and supportive and active in the community with the SPCA ,4-H, wildlife emergency care and more. Not every day is easy but we laugh along the way and the best days are truly awesome! Time off here can be filled with world-class mountain biking, hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, kayaking – if you love the outdoors, this is the place for you! But there are city-like amenities here as well and we’re close to 2 larger centers; Prince George and Kamloops. Best kept secret indeed!
